“Stuck or evolving?”
or are we just one state away from the state of transition?
It is so much like wading through a fog that all shifts are done with a great deal of uncertainty and indecisiveness. This is what it feels like when you get the feeling that the world is working against you and are held back with invisible chains on your feet.
It all looks familiar, and though you wish to move on, the path ahead is nothing but the unknown. Is it that life has come to a standstill, or are we confined to a cage of our own design, the fear cage?
At one point, we are not always immovable, but rather, we think we are, and this is all because we believe so. With the brush of self-doubt, we create a picture of inactivity and assume that all doors are closed.
We grab onto the excuse stick like it’s our job, transforming “I can’t” into our slogan while concurring with ourselves that the bars we see are real when, in fact, they are just images reflected from the swamp that is our fear.
Our thoughts turn into a broken soundtrack of defeat and counterfactuals. It is essential to remember that the chains we carry with us are made from ideas that may not be actually true. This may well be the universe telling us to slow down, to think, and to ask questions that have not been posed before.
