THE HEALING PROCESS
“Facing Heart Break?”
A deeply painful experience
We all know the experience of being hurt or let down in love, and the feeling of having the ground pulled out from under our feet. It is even beyond sorrow — the mix of sorrow, loss, and craving that affects the mind and body.
When the most important person leaves our lives, there is emptiness left, and we experience confusion, loneliness, and even fear. However, the thing is, there’s always light in the darkness, and there’s always hope in the misery.
With each passing month and year, the pain gets diluted, and what one learns with each failed relationship is to build oneself up, to rise with a heart that has been through pain and has come out stronger and wiser.
“The shattering of a heart when being broken is the loudest quiet ever.” — Carroll Bryant
Heartbreak can result from various situations, such as:
Romantic Breakups: Break up from a romantic relationship when one or both parties were fully invested emotionally.
Unrequited Love: Having a one-sided love affair — having affection for someone whom you know does not reciprocate your affection.
